A lot going on !

Busy weeks here! So time for a small update!

First of all, our little Princess Pink turned 6 April 7th. She is fully recovered from her surgery and is her good old self again. There is no other dog like Pinky, we simply adore her. We took this crazy picture of her, her grandma bought her this fairy dress. For Pinky nothing is too crazy ;-)
And Ollie (Chop Suey of the Hunters Pride) came to stay with us for a couple of days. His owners, co-own Minou (Belle Fairy Woods of Mayo Land) for us and since our little girl was having her season and Ollie is not neutered, their home was 'too small' :-) Ollie is having a great time with his mom Pink here. And today we went for a long walk and he even went for swim with Dax and Pink.

We also saw Missy (Mistral Force of the Hunters Pride) again. The little beauty will be 10 in August, but still looks as good as young dog. Thank you Pascale for visiting us it was lovely seeing her again!

I also visited my friend Carla, who is a Leonberger breeder. She currently has a litter of 6 weeks old. They are already bigger than mature Jack Russell Terriers! They are sooooo cute! Here are two of them <3 AND!! it's also been NINE weeks since my last post about Florida because the first USA Wizard (Lemosa Hopes Mandrake) pups are BORN!!!! Scarlett gave birth to 4 beautiful girls yesterday. They are beautifully marked. Congratulations to my friend Bonnie Edison (Edison Kennel Florida).

Florida

Wizard and I just got back from an amazing trip to Florida! Wizard had a date with two lovely girls in Palm Beach. Fun in the sun? Now who can say no to that! We were somewhat delayed because of the strong wind in Amsterdam, and because of the headwind towards Atlanta we were even more delayed. Customs took forever as usual, so by the time we got to the bagage claim we had 10 minutes left to make it to the plane..... wasn't going to work... So we were rebooked on a later flight out (thank goodness there was one!) and made it to Palm Beach that day. Bonnie was waiting for us at the airport. Here is Wizzie with Bonnie's car, his first Florida picture :-)

Bonnie and I took Wizard to Petsmart. I am sure he thought he died and went to dogtoyheaven LOL. He didn't know where to look, he was so overwhelmed by it all. We bought him a bunch of toys and many people stopped to pet him, he was quite the attraction in there ;-)
We found this t-shirt for him: "Chick Magnet" :-) He was so focused on the toys that I don't think he even noticed that I put that t-shirt on LOL
And what about this one; "mommy's tough guy" so cute :-)

Wizard in complete awe :-)

Petsmart you have another fan :-)

Another day we went to the beach. Another day in paradise. Wizard enjoyed every minute of it!Whooheeee :-)

Beautiful little man exploring the beach, he thought the waves were very facinating. Whoo that wave came too close ;-) Scary LOLPretty boy

Wes took this lovely picture of Wizard for Valentine's Day, our little Chick magnet :-)Time flies when you are having fun. And before we knew it was time to leave again :-( It wasn't just Wizzie and I on the way back, we brought a little one home as well. His name is Edison's Alliance. We choose the name Alliance (Lance for short) because Lance will be owned by me and two of my friends who are also breeders, Kate from the Z Jerene kennel in the Czech Republic and Caroline from the Jack Beauty kennel in the south of France.
~Alliance~ An alliance is an agreement or friendship between two or more parties, made in order to advance common goals and to secure common interests.

Here is little Lance at the airport. He thought it was all very interesting. And he was quite the attraction. So many people wanted to take his picture :-)On our flight to Atlanta we had a lovely flight attendent who loved Lance and I took this picture of her with him. The flight attendents on this flight were so nice.

This is Lance in his first clas cabin LOL, such luxery :-)

And now we are back home and he acts like he has always been here :-) He is such a sweetheart with a lovely face.
I would love to thank my dear friend Bonnie for a great vacation, Wizard and I had a wonderful time, we LOVED spending time with you!
And I also love to thank my dear friend Kate, in case any one forgot she is Wizzie's "first mom", his owner, for entrusting Wizard to us and allowing us to take him on this wonderful trip. He really had the time of his life. So on behalf of him, woof woof thank you :-)

Visiting Prague

Last weekend we flew to the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic, to visit our friends Kate and Vasek from the Z Jerene kennel. We were there to pick up Wizard (Lemosa Hopes Mandrake). We decided to fly there because of the winter weather, it's only a 80 minute flight, so we were there really quickly.

We spent the first day in Prague and enjoyed the beautiful winterweather and had a great dinner that night together with Kate and Vasek. The next day we walked to the beautiful medieval Karlštejn castle with the dogs. At night we had a lovely dinner with Kates sister Stania and her husband and daughter. The company and the food (those Czechs really know what good food is!) was excellent!

Thank you Vasek and Kate for this great weekend!

Here are some pics of our trip.

A fun day!

Yesterday we spent the day with our friend Monique and her family to visit Finna -Finna Faeryn of the Hunters Pride- and to have fun day together with the family. Monique's parents co-own our Bella -Atia Bella of the Hunters Pride- with us and her brother and sister in law own Hunters -Ed Venture of the Hunters Pride-. And they all came to visit and it was a fun seeing them all again! Monique and her family also own a Hovawart named Lancelot, 2 Basset Hounds named Roos and Luna, and a bunch of other animals :-) Below are some picture we took that day.
Thank you Monique, Marco, Verene and Fjodor for the lovely day!

Lizzy's Mad Max of the Hunters Pride

Lizzy went across the rainbow bridge today. We were so sad to hear she passed away, but we also felt happy for her because we know she will be her happy self again up in heaven, playing with all her canine friends that passed before her.
After the passing of Lizzy's mother Jacky, she became the matriarch of the Hunters Pride family. We are proud to have her great granddaughter Daisy with us. She will live on in Daisy and her pups.
Lizzy was so sweet and kind we have many happy memories of her. Her owner Jolanda (founder of our kennel) and her family are so sad that they had to let her go, our heart goes out to them.
I wanted to share a collection of pictures we took over the years of Lizzy.

Lizzy you will be missed but never forgotten

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
